Season 3 of Tekken 8 implements a measured balance approach (Refined Balance/Back to Basics) rather than a full system rebuild. Ver.3.00 will remove wall splats from Heat Smash, fix how power-ups end with Heat, and include other character move changes, with patch notes due March 17 JST. A new TEKKEN Dev Feedback Portal (Beta) opens March 16 JST on a dedicated site and Discord to collect issues and discuss balance. Rank resets at Season 3’s start rebase ranks to players’ top Season 2 performance, add titles, and improve rank point visualization, promotions, win-streaks, and demotion criteria. Matchmaking refinements aim to reduce large skill gaps, while ongoing updates are planned alongside new character releases; community feedback is encouraged through the portal and official channels.
