The Ups and Downs of Final Fantasy 16's Collector's Edition and State of Play
TL;DR
The Collector's Edition of Final Fantasy 16, which includes a statue, pins, steelbook case, and cloth map, is completely sold out and being scalped by resellers on eBay for double its MSRP, with some asking for up to £999.99. Square Enix has been criticized for the limited availability of its products, with pre-orders for the Anniversary Edition of the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster also being sold for over $1,200. It's recommended to forget about the Collector's Edition and move on with life rather than paying such exorbitant prices.
