TL;DR

The Steam version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 now has an offline mode, but it is exclusively available for Steam Deck users. PC players were frustrated with the always-online requirement, and while an update added offline support, it can only be accessed on Valve's portable PC. Fans have been trying to find workarounds, but so far, none have been successful. This move by Activision is unusual, as it locks out features for desktop players and restricts offline play to Steam Deck users.
