Twitch Bans Streamer's Cute Emote, Sparks Platform Transition Speculation.
TL;DR
Twitch has removed a popular emote, "chicaL," from Fortnite streamer and TikToker Chica's channel for "inciting abuse." While some speculated that the emote was removed for representing the letter "L," Twitch's guidelines prohibit emotes with single letters and graphics. The reason for the removal remains unclear, but some streamers suggest that Twitch may be removing emotes with single letters to prevent users from writing offensive messages.
