TL;DR

Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 5 will receive a "highly requested" feature on current-gen consoles to celebrate its fifth anniversary, but it's unclear what the feature will be. The game might receive a current-gen update and support 60fps. In addition, Ubisoft might be getting ready to officially announce Far Cry 7. Far Cry 5 came out in 2018 and followed the story of a deputy sent to arrest Joseph Seed, a cult leader in Montana.
