TL;DR

Square Enix has released screenshots from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, showcasing a significant visual upgrade from the original 1997 game, with iconic moments faithfully recreated. Fans have been quick to notice the direct remakes of classic poses, such as Yuffie standing triumphantly and Cait Sith with its Moogle companion. While the game pays homage to the original, it will also feature significant departures, such as Zack's "immensely important" role and deviations from the original storyline.
