TL;DR
Diablo 4's Lunar Awakening event for Chinese New Year is receiving criticism for being too short, offering limited rewards, and requiring players to create new characters to claim certain items. However, the event does offer a set of Lunar markings and a horse as prizes, which are considered to be some of the best player cosmetics offered for free in the game.
