Yoshi-P Calls for New Final Fantasy Tactics Game
TL;DR
In a PAX East interview, Final Fantasy's Naoki Yoshida expressed interest in creating a new Final Fantasy Tactics game, acknowledging the series' popularity among the current team. However, he noted the challenges of integrating Final Fantasy 16's elements into a Tactics game and hinted at the need for a new approach. With indie developers dominating the turn-based tactics genre and major franchises like XCOM and Fire Emblem thriving, the future of a new Tactics game remains uncertain, but Yoshida's comments offer hope for fans.
