Zen Studios Hit by Layoffs as Embracer-Owned Pinball FX Maker Cuts Staff

Zen Studios, the creators of Pinball FX, has reportedly laid off 32 employees as part of Embracer's ongoing restructuring plan. The layoffs come after recent job cuts at Crystal Dynamics, Beamdog, and Gearbox Publishing, all of which are owned by Embracer. Zen Studios was acquired by Embracer in 2020 and became a subsidiary of Saber Interactive. Embracer has stated that it will not comment on specific studios but will provide regular updates on its restructuring program.
