Former Bungie HR Manager Files Lawsuit Alleging Retaliation and Wrongful Termination

A former HR manager at Bungie, the developer of Destiny, is suing the studio for wrongful termination and retaliation. The manager alleges that she was laid off after reporting a potential case of racial discrimination involving the only black employee on her team. She claims that her supervisor responded with hostility and denial when she recommended diversity training, and she reached out to Bungie's director of equity and inclusion for advice. Following this, she was cut off from company communication and eventually told her "resignation had been accepted" despite not intending to resign. Bungie has denied most of the allegations, and a jury trial is set for January 2024.
