Twitter Circle Privacy Concerns Rise as Posts Become Public

Twitter users are reporting that their private Twitter Circle posts are accessible to the wider public, with some even able to like and interact with them. Twitter Circles was released last year, allowing users to post tweets to a limited, selective audience. However, users not in these circles have recently been able to sometimes see and interact with these tweets. It is unclear if recent changes to Twitter's algorithm have affected Circles. This is not the first time the feature has been glitchy, but it is the first time users have reported being able to see posts that should be contained to private communities.
