Rookie Thornton Dominates Highland for $5,000 MARS Win

Dylan Thornton, a MARS Championship Series rookie, led all 40 laps at Highland Speedway (Highland, IL) to win the feature and a $5,000 payday, his third series victory of the season, fending off veteran challengers Ryan Unzicker and Jason Feger as two early cautions slowed the race; Thornton’s dominant performance and traffic mastery keep him near the top of the standings ahead of the next event at Fairbury.
