Maxxis Unveils Reaver: The Ultimate Speed Demon in Gravel Tires

Maxxis has released the all-new Reaver, their fastest pure gravel tire to date. The tire features a tread that combines elements from the Maxxis Speed Terrane cyclocross tire and the Maxxis Aspen ST. It offers excellent rolling resistance, cornering confidence, and grip on dry gravel, small rocks, crushed limestone, country roads, and some forest terrains. Currently available in a 700x40c size, with a 700x45c size rumored to be released soon. The Reaver is praised for its speed and performance, but its effectiveness diminishes in wet and muddy conditions.
