Sirianni Reveals Reason for Cox Sneak Absence.

Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni revealed that a version of the QB sneak play involving defensive tackle Fletcher Cox existed but was never used during the 2022 season. The play would have had Cox pushing quarterback Jalen Hurts. Sirianni explained that the team had a similar play with cornerback Darius Slay last year, but it was difficult to predict when to use it. Despite the success of the Eagles' QB sneaks last season, the team was more proud of the wrinkles they ran off of it. Cox's version of the QB sneak may still be used in the future.
