Asus ROG Ally: Improved Battery Life and Accessories Now Available at Best Buy

Asus has addressed the battery life issues of its handheld ROG Ally gaming PC, which received mixed reviews upon its release in May. The company has made software tweaks to optimize power consumption at lower wattages, resulting in a 10 to 20 percent improvement in battery life for customers receiving the device in June. Asus has also added the ability to turn off some of the AMD Z1 Extreme processor's eight cores during gameplay to lower power consumption. However, adding a bigger battery is not an option as it would increase the device's weight.
