ASUS ROG Ally Z1 Hits All-Time Low at $399, Crushing Competition
TL;DR
The ASUS ROG Ally Z1, available in two versions featuring AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme or Ryzen Z1, is now priced at $399, with an open-box option available for $299 at BestBuy. Both models offer a 1080p 120Hz screen, 512GB storage, and 16GB of LPDDR6-6400 memory. The price drop comes after the launch of Lenovo Legion Go and the release of Steam Deck OLED. The reduced price may boost sales for the non-Extreme Z1 variant, which has been less popular. Mini-PC manufacturers have also started featuring the Ryzen Z1 series, indicating potential interest in custom APUs designed for handheld systems.
