Elon Musk Raises Concerns Over WhatsApp's Trustworthiness

Elon Musk criticized WhatsApp over privacy concerns and announced that Twitter will be launching its own encrypted messaging feature. Musk tweeted a screenshot by a Twitter engineer that showed WhatsApp using the microphone multiple times throughout the night. WhatsApp responded, claiming it was a bug on Android. Musk also announced that Twitter's encrypted direct messages (DMs) could be available to users as early as May 10. He also revealed that Twitter will soon release voice and video chat from users' handles. Musk also called out Mark Zuckerberg, claiming he "bought" the 2020 election through donations.
