TL;DR

Google has confirmed the existence of the upcoming Pixel 8a and announced that the removed Battery information page feature will return on the midrange and future Pixel devices. The decision to limit the feature to newer hardware has sparked user concerns. Rumors suggest the Pixel 8a may be unveiled in May at Google I/O 2024, with two storage options and four color choices. The phone is expected to have a design similar to the Pixel 8, a 6.1-inch screen, Tensor G3 chip, and 8GB of RAM.
