TL;DR

iOS 17 will focus on updates to core system apps, including improvements to the Wallet app and Find My. macOS 14 will not be a significant update, but will include support for features brought to other operating systems for a consistent cross-platform experience. Sideloading may be a Europe-only feature to comply with the Digital Markets Act, and developers may have to pay an additional fee to make apps available via a third-party service. WatchOS 10 will be a significant update, but the core design of the platform is not expected to change.
