Netflix to Launch 40 New Games in 2023

Netflix plans to release about 40 more videogames in 2023, in addition to the 55 games it has already released since launching its first mobile games in November 2021. The company also has almost 100 games in development, with 70 being developed with partners and 16 being developed by its in-house studio. Netflix views gaming as another new content category for them, similar to their expansion into original films, animation, and unscripted TV. Currently, videogames are free for Netflix subscribers on its iOS and Android apps, and have no ads or in-game purchases.
