Samsung Unveils 4TB 990 PRO SSD with Affordable Price and Release Date

Samsung has introduced a new 4TB capacity option in its SSD 990 PRO series, designed for gamers and creators. The 990 PRO series features high-performance PCIe 4.0 SSDs with eighth-generation Samsung V-NAND technology and an enhanced proprietary controller. With blazing-fast speeds, improved reliability, and increased storage capacity, the 990 PRO series is optimized for demanding workloads and large data volumes, making it ideal for PCs, laptops, game consoles, and computing systems. The 4TB option offers best-in-class performance, including sequential read speeds of up to 7,450MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,900MB/s. It also features enhanced power efficiency, reliable thermal control, and a slim design suitable for ultra-thin laptops. The 990 PRO 4TB series will be available for purchase in October 2023.
