Bing with ChatGPT and Google Bard, two AI chatbots, were tested to see how effective they were at helping people make shopping decisions for smartphones. Both chatbots were non-committal when it came to recommending phones, but Bing asked for more information to provide personalized recommendations while Bard noted key factors that affect purchasing habits. However, Bard's recommendations were out of date, referring to phones that were released a year ago.
