"Understanding Apple's Rapid Security Response for iOS Updates"

Apple has launched its first-ever Rapid Security Response update for iOS devices, which delivers important security improvements between software updates and is faster to install than standard iOS updates. These updates are applied automatically to iPhones, iPads, and Macs by default and are only available for the latest versions of iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. The updates are found under Settings, then General and Software Update for iOS devices and under the Apple menu, then System Settings, General, and Software Update for Macs.
