Windows 11 to feature more ads in Settings and beyond.

Microsoft is set to display more ads for its products within Windows 11, with the Settings Home page soon to present adverts for Microsoft 365 products. The Home tab in Settings will show a banner asking users who aren’t subscribed to the platform to “Try Microsoft 365”. This is not the first time Microsoft has incorporated ads into its operating system, with Start Menu ads being seen in Windows 11 since November 2022. Microsoft is keen to drive more subscriptions to the 365 platform through these adverts.
