Elizabeth Holmes' Prison Sentence Delayed Again with Last-Minute Appeal.

Elizabeth Holmes, founder of Theranos, has delayed reporting to prison to begin her 11-year sentence after filing an appeal against a judge's denial of her request to remain free while fighting her conviction. Her legal team has claimed that the judge's decision "reflects numerous, inexplicable errors." Holmes' ex-boyfriend and co-defendant, Ramesh "Sunny" Balwani, used the same appeal tactic to delay his own prison reporting date by about a month. Holmes' legal team has also submitted a filing asking the judge to grant her a new trial or reduce her prison sentence.
