Nikola Corporation, a global leader in zero-emissions transportation, has announced a leadership transition with the appointment of Stephen Girsky as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), replacing Michael Lohscheller who is stepping down due to a family health matter. Girsky, who has been Chairman of Nikola's Board of Directors since September 2020, will also remain on the Board. Steve Shindler, a director since October 2020, will serve as Chairman of the Board. Lohscheller will continue to support the company in an advisory capacity until the end of September.
