Samer Abudaqa, an Al Jazeera cameraman, was killed in a drone strike in Gaza, becoming the 13th journalist from the network to die on duty since its creation in 1996. His colleague, Wael Al-Dahdouh, survived the attack. Al Jazeera stated that Abudaqa bled to death as heavy bombardment prevented paramedics from reaching him.
