Tragedy Strikes: Al Jazeera Correspondent Loses Family in Gaza Airstrike

Al Jazeera correspondent Wael al-Dahdouh lost his entire immediate family, including his wife, son, daughter, and grandson, in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. The airstrike, which also killed 21 others, targeted their home in the Nuseirat camp where they had sought refuge after being displaced by previous bombardments. Al Jazeera strongly condemned the indiscriminate targeting of innocent civilians in Gaza. Israeli strikes have killed over 6,500 people in Gaza, including more than 22 journalists, and displaced nearly 600,000 people. The UN warned that relief efforts would be halted unless fuel supplies reached Gaza, while Oxfam accused Israel of using starvation as a weapon of war against civilians.
