Ukraine Strikes Back: Targeting Crimea's Naval Headquarters

Ukraine launched a missile attack on Sevastopol in Crimea, targeting the occupied peninsula a day after striking Russia's Black Sea Fleet headquarters. The attack resulted in debris falling near a pier and in a park, with ferry traffic temporarily halted. Ukraine's intelligence chief claimed that at least nine people were killed and 16 others wounded in the previous day's attack, including a Russian general in a serious condition. Ukraine's military stated that the air force conducted 12 strikes on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters, hitting anti-aircraft missile systems and artillery units. The ongoing attacks on naval facilities in Crimea aim to degrade Russian morale and weaken its military. Meanwhile, the US has agreed to provide Ukraine with a version of the longer-range ATACMS ballistic missiles. Russia also launched Iranian-made drones and carried out numerous strikes on settlements in southeastern Ukraine, resulting in civilian casualties.
