Deadly Bank Shooting in Louisville Leaves Five Dead.

A gunman killed five people and injured nine others, including a rookie police officer, in a shooting at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky. The attacker, who was identified as a 25-year-old employee of the bank, livestreamed the attack on Instagram and was later killed in an exchange of gunfire with the police. The victims were aged between 40 and 64, and included a senior vice-president at the bank. The officer who was critically injured had graduated from the police academy just two weeks ago. The incident is one of at least 146 mass shootings in the US so far this year.
