Dublin Stabbing Leaves Five Injured, Including Three Children

Five people, including three young children, were injured in a knife attack in central Dublin, which police believe to be a standalone attack and not terror-related. A five-year-old girl is receiving emergency treatment for serious injuries, while a man in his 50s, who is also seriously injured, has been detained. A woman in her 30s is also being treated for serious injuries, while two other children suffered less serious injuries. The attack occurred near a school, but police do not believe it was targeted at the school. Anti-immigrant protesters briefly broke through a police barrier near the scene, prompting the deployment of riot police. Prime Minister Leo Varadkar expressed shock at the incident.
