"Fatal Incident in Nottingham Leaves Three Dead and One Arrested"

Two students were among the three people killed in a series of attacks in Nottingham, with a man arrested on suspicion of murder. The University of Nottingham said it was "shocked and devastated" by the deaths of the pair. Police said they were keeping an "open mind" after the "horrific and tragic" attacks in the city. Nottinghamshire Police said officers were working with counter-terrorism policing colleagues to investigate the circumstances. Multiple cordons are in place around the city centre, with Ilkeston Road, Magdala Road, Milton Street and Maple Street remaining shut.
