Florida Dentist Convicted in Murder-for-Hire Plot Against Law Professor's Ex-Husband

Charles Adelson, the former brother-in-law of slain Florida law professor Dan Markel, has been found guilty of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and solicitation of murder. Adelson arranged and paid for hitmen to kill Markel in 2014, allegedly motivated by a custody dispute between Markel and Adelson's sister, Wendi Adelson. Adelson's conviction comes after three others involved in the murder were also found guilty. The jury deliberated for three hours before reaching a verdict, and Adelson now faces a likely sentence of life in prison.
