Idaho In-N-Out shooting ends with suspect’s suicide after officer and bystander intervene

Three people were killed and seven wounded when a gunman opened fire at a Twin Falls In-N-Out. The suspect, 24-year-old Chad Williams, died by a self-inflicted gunshot after an off-duty state trooper and an armed bystander returned fire, likely preventing further casualties. Investigators say Williams acted alone; one of the deceased was a restaurant employee.
