Massive Drug Bust: $10 Million Worth of Meth and Cocaine Concealed in Jalapeño Paste Jugs

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers in San Diego discovered over $10 million worth of methamphetamine and cocaine hidden in vats of jalapeño paste in a commercial tractor-trailer. The shipment, containing over 3,000 pounds of methamphetamine and over 500 pounds of cocaine, was found during a K-9 inspection. The driver of the truck was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations for further processing. This seizure follows a series of successful drug busts in San Diego, including the recent seizure of over $239 million worth of cocaine by the U.S. Coast Guard.
