"Snapchat Selfie Leads to Conviction in Brutal Stabbing of Cheerleader"

Tristyn Bailey, a 13-year-old student, was stabbed 114 times and found dead near a retention pond in Florida in May 2021. Her classmate, Aiden Fucci, was arrested and later pleaded guilty to her murder. Fucci had taken a Snapchat selfie in the back of a patrol car while the search for Tristyn was still underway. He faces 40 years to life in prison and is currently in the midst of sentencing. Tristyn's family is working on several initiatives to honor her memory.
