Stanford employee charged with making false rape claims on campus.

A Stanford University employee, Jennifer Ann Gries, has been charged with two felony counts of perjury and two misdemeanor counts of making a false crime report after she allegedly lied about being raped twice on campus last year and even pinned the crimes on an innocent person. Gries faces charges for falsely accusing a man of raping her and for lying about being pregnant with twins after the incident. The university has placed Gries on a leave of absence and will be reviewing her employment. False rape accusations are rare and deeply destructive crimes, according to the DA.
