Survivors of Mexico Kidnapping Share Captivity Details.

Two survivors of a kidnapping by a Mexican drug cartel have shared details of their ordeal, which left two of their friends dead. The group was ambushed by armed men in broad daylight as they crossed the US-Mexico border, and were likely mistaken for Haitian drug smugglers. The survivors were taken to several different locations over the days they spent in captivity, getting blindfolded as they were moved between locations. The Gulf Cartel, believed to be responsible for the kidnappings, issued an apology letter and handed over five of its members to local authorities.
