Teen Migrant Gunman Arrested for Times Square Shooting

A 15-year-old Venezuelan migrant, Jesus Alejandro Rivas Figueroa, was arrested in Yonkers after allegedly shooting at a Brazilian tourist and an NYPD officer in Times Square. He is also wanted for an armed robbery in the Bronx and another shooting in Midtown. Two other teen boys are persons of interest. The shooting occurred after a security guard confronted the teens for shoplifting at a store. The tourist was injured, and the gunman fled into a subway station. The NYPD is offering a $13,500 reward for information leading to his capture.
