Texas Driver Faces Manslaughter Charges for Deadly Crash at Migrant Center

A Texas man, George Alvarez, has been charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault after crashing his SUV into a group of pedestrians near a Brownsville homeless shelter housing migrants, killing eight people. Alvarez attempted to flee but was held down by several bystanders. Police have not ruled out the possibility that the crash was intentional.
