"Tragic Discovery: Bodies Found in Submerged Tennessee Deputy's Patrol Car"
TL;DR
The body of Tennessee deputy Robert "R.J." Leonard was found in his patrol car, which was recovered from the Hiwassee River along with the body of a woman he had arrested. Authorities believe the car ended up in the water due to an accident, possibly caused by Leonard texting and radioing while driving in a poorly lit area. The 35-year-old deputy had been on the force for about two months and leaves behind a wife and three children.
