A shooting at the New Hampshire State Hospital in Concord has left a retired police chief, identified as 63-year-old Bradley Haas, dead. The suspect was also killed by a New Hampshire State trooper assigned to the hospital. The situation is now contained, and all patients at the hospital are safe. The 185-bed facility is an acute psychiatric hospital with its own security force and metal detectors for visitors.
