"Utah YouTuber Ruby Franke Arrested for Alleged Child Abuse"

Ruby Franke, a Utah woman known for giving parenting advice on her now-defunct YouTube channel "8 Passengers," has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated child abuse after her malnourished son escaped and sought help from a neighbor. The boy had duct tape on his ankles and wrists and was found to have deep lacerations and malnourishment. Franke's 10-year-old daughter was also found malnourished in the house of Jodi Hildebrandt, who owns a counseling business where Franke had recently appeared in YouTube videos. Both Franke and Hildebrandt were arrested on suspicion of two felony counts of aggravated child abuse.
