Utah YouTuber Ruby Franke Arrested for Child Abuse After Disturbing Discovery

Ruby Franke, the Utah mom behind the now-defunct family YouTube channel 8 Passengers, and her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, were arrested on child abuse charges after malnourished children with open wounds and duct tape on their extremities were found. The Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Department received a report about a juvenile in need of help and discovered two severely emaciated children in a nearby home. Four minors were taken into the care of the Department of Child and Family Services. Franke and Hildebrandt are still in custody. The Frankes' strict parenting style and controversial videos have previously led to reports to authorities.
