Ruby Franke, a popular parenting advice YouTuber known for her channel "8 Passengers," has been arrested on suspicion of child abuse after her malnourished son escaped from home. Her business partner, Jodi Nan Hildebrandt, was also arrested. The 12-year-old boy had climbed out of a window and sought help from a neighbor, appearing emaciated and malnourished with open wounds and duct tape around his extremities. Four children in total were taken into the care of family and child services. Franke's strict parenting measures, including withholding meals and using a bean bag as punishment, had previously sparked backlash.
