Daytime Shows Delayed as Writers Strike Continues

This comes after Drew Barrymore faced criticism for initially announcing her talk show's return during the strike and then reversing course. Other daytime shows, including "The Talk," have also pushed back their premiere dates. While talk shows like Hudson's operate under the SAG-AFTRA Network Code, allowing hosts to continue without violating rules, her show, covered by the WGA, had planned to start without writers and resume with them once a new contract is in place.
