"Global Solidarity: UK Actors Union Equity Joins SAG-AFTRA in Friday Protest"

UK actors union Equity will hold a rally in London and Manchester in solidarity with SAG-AFTRA, with attendees including Equity General Secretary Paul W Fleming and Equity President Lynda Rooke. Protestors will march in support of striking actors in the US, starting from Leicester Square in London and Media City in Manchester. Despite UK anti-trade union laws stating that SAG-AFTRA members working under an Equity UK collective bargaining agreement should continue reporting to work, Equity has expressed unwavering solidarity with SAG-AFTRA.
