"Heartstopper: Season 3, Expanding Beyond the Comic, and Parallel Coming Out Stories"
TL;DR
Alice Oseman, the creator of the Netflix series "Heartstopper," discusses the expansion of the show from the original comic and the upcoming season 3. Season 2 explores the love stories of other characters, such as Elle and Tao, Tara and Darcy, and Isaac, who realizes he's asexual. Oseman aims to balance light and dark themes in the show and hopes it provides comfort to trans teens. She is excited to continue expanding the story in season 3 and sees the show as its own separate entity from the comic.
