Matthew Perry's Autopsy Reveals Ketamine as Cause of Death

An autopsy report revealed that actor Matthew Perry, known for his role in Friends, died from the "acute effects of ketamine." The 54-year-old was found unresponsive in his pool at his Los Angeles home, with drowning, coronary artery disease, and the effects of buprenorphine also contributing to his death. Perry had a history of drug addiction but had reportedly been clean for 19 months. The report mentioned his use of ketamine infusion therapy for depression and anxiety, but the ketamine found in his system at the time of his death did not come from the therapy.
