Sean 'Diddy' Combs and Cassie settle lawsuit, ending allegations of abuse and rape

Sean "Diddy" Combs and his ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura have settled a lawsuit in which Ventura accused the rapper of physical abuse, sexual slavery, and rape. The terms of the settlement were not disclosed. In a joint statement, Ventura and Combs expressed their desire to resolve the matter amicably. Ventura had filed the lawsuit, alleging that Combs forced her into sex acts with male prostitutes while he watched and filmed, and also subjected her to regular beatings. Combs denied all the allegations, with his lawyer claiming that Ventura had attempted to blackmail him. Combs, known for his influence in hip-hop and as the founder of Bad Boy Records, is one of the most prominent figures in the industry.
